Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......... relaxation .........these amazing, inspiring children are practicing the art and science of mindful deep breathing and the body scan. They understand. They "get it" . These insightful little people practice in ways that teach me everyday.... I LOVE IT!
COURSE DESCRIPTION: yoga and mindfulness practices for kids
Each class will include the following:
1) Big belly breathing and other breath awareness exercises
2) Gentle stretches and FUN yoga flow sequences
3) Playful self-regulation balance and sensory activities, and mindful awareness exercises
4) Muscle relaxation in resting postures

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a 4 week yoga and mindfulness course (1 hour/ week)
Each class will include the following:
1) Breath awareness exercises
2) Gentle stretches and yoga flow sequences
3) Playful self-regulation balance and sensory activities
4) Muscle relaxation in resting postures.
The balance and sensory activities are play-based self-regulation activities that you can use with your children or spouse at home!
Phew! We worked through a balancing series, a stretching series, mindful listening, perspective taking and gratitude!Time for a refreshing mango juice and a deep rest!
